This is the first blog of my life.
I have always been aware of blogs but considered them a dying technology because of social networking sites like myspace and facebook. Blogging appears to have weathered constantly changing internet fads and has stuck around as a common tool of the average internet participant.

Why do people write blogs? Who reads these things? What is the point?
After considering this and seeking opinions from friends, I came to the conclusion that the first priority of the blog is all about me:
- Reflection is the key to learning
- I must learn to walk before I can run (personal goal to become a photo journalist)
- My autobiography will be so much easier to write when I'm 65
The second priority for the blog is to write some interesting stories that I can share with close friends/family - and possibly others interested in the same topics.
This year is going to be action packed. I will be living, working and studying in Asia (either Indonesia or Philippines). I plan to completely challenge myself to be the best person I can be in all parts of my life. Also, I will be conducting a social experiment... however I will tell you about that when it begins. Trust me - it will be juicy.
